It was snowing pretty hard as I walked into the Sanderson Community Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to do my talk about Happiness for the Hearing Loss Association of Salt Lake City. It was still snowing when I came out two hours later. The roads were downright scary – even for someone that lived in Alaska for 10 years! I slid and slipped the whole way home and even used the rain gutter to get traction on my street but not only did I make it to my street, I made it into my garage! Tonight I am so grateful to be home where I can be safe and warm.
