Positive #4: The beauty of unmolded clay

I have 25 lbs of clay. The kind of clay that artists use to sculpt things. This clay may be molded into almost anything. What will I make? I experienced a similar feeling when I took a painting class and stared at the blank canvas. There is something so beautiful and raw about the unblemished canvas and the untouched clay. ‘So full of possibility. As of this moment I am not sure exactly what I am going to make. I am not concerned about whether it will be “right” or “perfect”. I am not even in a rush to make it something else. Who is to say that it is not already a work of art? Beauty is, as they say, in the eye of the beholder.
