One of the commitments I made to the Happiness 101 class last week was to purchase some clay. Since 7th grade I have been intrigued with the ability people have to make things with clay. My teacher, Mrs. Helius, made tiny houses that looked like something out of a Thomas Kincade painting, complete with cobblestone walkways. So, yesterday I went to Capital Ceramics. They were very nice and helped me get everything I need to get started. I was surprised that a 25 lb brick of clay only cost $12! I think I’ll start with something simple – like a business card holder. I need one. I am really looking forward to rekindling my creative side and experiencing Flow.
