Because of the snow, neighbors came from their homes to clear their driveways and walkways. Nearly every home on the street had people scraping, snowblowing and shoveling. This gave everyone a wonderful opportunity to say “hello” and help one another. One man was going about with his truck and winch to help cars from their cradles of snow. For a moment, the snow brought a sense of community not enjoyed in years. Today, I feel grateful for my neighbors and their willingness to help.
