Last night with the wind howling I woke up several times and was grateful to be in a warm shelter and a cozy bed. I always think how hard it must of been before all our comforts and am thankful.

Winter Solstice is here and now each day there will be more light! I am always happy for this day.

I just finished listening to Soul Surfer. On amazing race Bethany impressed me so much with her strength and positive outlook. I had to hear more how she did that. Very impressive young lady, we need more role models like her.
