I always said if America ever starts making a car again that is 100% American, I’ll buy it.  I did and never went back.  Between my wife and I, we have owned 5 Saturns.  My little SC2 is well over 130,000 miles and doing well.  I love the metallic black berry color and the fact that it’s a 5-speed (I love a stick).  Also the way the seats fold down, I can tote a 12-foot pole running from the trunk to the dashboard.  Something else unique: It’s a three door.  Yep.  Two long, sporty doors and a little half door on the passenger’s side to make it easier for the occasional third passenger.  I love my little car.
