Like the song goes “You don’t know what you got ’til it’s gone”, I realize this evening how many things that I use run on AA batteries, including my ancient mouse. It also powers the remotes to the Wii. Batteries also offer something one can depend on during a blackout. Today, I pause to appreciate the amazing invention of AA batteries.
