Positive #1 Ingress!  I have been thoroughly enjoying this game!  It gives me something to look forward to, I get opportunities to get our and walk and also see parts of Salt Lake and Utah that I’ve never seen before.  It also gives me a chance to help team mates (in the broad sense) but also team mates (in the more personal sense).  It’s an international game, so I feel like I am part of something much bigger.  It also gives me a chance to use strategy and helps to keep me sharp.  ‘Love it!

Positive #2 Costco cake!  ‘Went to a one year old’s birthday party yesterday.  The host really went all out.  I was quite impressed.  The cake was from Costco.  It tasted absolutely amazing!  Moist and delicious.   I enjoyed it so much, I took a second piece and raved so much the host sent me home with more.  Knowing that there is delicious cake in the world gives me something to look forward to – and I have found that that always helps my happiness.

Positive #3: Positives.  I have gotten away from doing my positives and have really felt it.  I am very glad to be back to doing them.  I can already feel a boost in my mood.  I enjoy the opportunity to ask myself “What’s going RIGHT?”  I also enjoy sharing my positives with friends both on and off Facebook.  It gives us things to talk about and often they will share what is going right in their life as well.  I’ve also received feedback from strangers that reading my positives helps them to see what is going right in their own life.  That’s a lot of pay off for a few minutes a day!

Positive #2: Dominion game night! Friends are coming over specifically to play my favorite game and pair it with one of my other favorite past times – eating! Great company, food and my favorite game – what could be sweeter?!

I am enjoying the struggle of building a new business. If everything was easy, it wouldn’t be nearly as much fun. Some people play games or puzzles – I feel like I am playing the “game” of life and part of that is turning livelihood into prosperity. I feel SO blessed to have found my calling and get to practice it every day. I feel extremely fortunate to have such an amazing, supportive team. Today, I look not to hasten to the end but stand right in the middle of the struggle, enjoying the whole experience.

I have been playing a lot of Dominion on my iPhone lately. I have been losing a LOT! I’m not going to lie, I get frustrated when I lose that many times in a row. But I also remember that steel sharpens steel and as long as I am recognizing why I lost and learning from my more skilled opponents it is only a matter of time until I turn the tables. I used this when I was playing chess. It reminds me of Nick Vuijicic and how he suggested that you just keep getting up and trying until you persevere. A.K.A.: Success is about getting up one more time than you fall.

The only thing better than playing my favorite game is doing so at the request of my wife. I know when SHE is the one initiating that she really wants to play. We drew random cards for each game, so each experience was different. We played FIVE games! I even won a couple of them (bonus!) I am so happy!

This is a game my family and I have really been into lately. We got my daughter hooked on it while she was visiting and she found two ways for us to play long-distance – on the iPhone and there is an on-line version too. I spent my lunch hour yesterday playing her. It’s great because it gives us another reason to stay in touch. The game uses a lot of strategy so it really keeps my mind engaged. And because we can mix and match the cards, it never gets boring. Also, because I mentioned it to some friends, they invited us over this weekend to play – and having a reason to get together with friends is always something for which to be to be grateful.
